Tinamasters - costa rica Tinamasters is situated on the main road between Dominical and San Isidro. This small community at an elevation of around 2500 feet, Tinamasters is the 'gateway' to some populair retirement based areas, such as Alfombras, La Florida, San Cristobal, etc. At less than 25 minutes from the beach, some very pretty distant ocean views, beautiful mountain & valley views and the breeze, it is a populair choice for people who want to live close to coast but with much nicer climate and more centrally located towards San isidro, the main city in the South. The soil type up in this region is much better than most places and is therefor atracting lots of biological farmers from both Costa Rica and abroad. Many veggies you'll see on the farmers market might be coming from these areas. The Tinamasters area is also very polulair for people who looking to buy real estate.
