In Costa Rica potential buyers are offered many types of real estate: Houses, small pieces of land, entire farms, rainforest properties, condominiums, time-shares, finished lots and beachfront property. To buy real estate in Costa Rica is a different process than in your home country. Factors to consider are language barriers and unfamiliarity with local laws and procedures. Furthermore the branch of real estate in Costa Rica is not regulated yet; minimum conditions of necessary capabilities are non existent. Often sales representatives give clients advice without having the right knowledge themselves.
