Baru - costa rica The community of Baru lies just outside Dominical, on the main road towards San Isidro and is named after the Baru river, running along the village. Baru can be both reached by the main paved road as well as by graveld road (Camino Viejo) from the center of Dominical. Known as a great swimming spot, Baru is experiencing a high growth for riverside related development. Baru is a quiet and safe neighborhood about a 7 min. drive from Dominical. It has a little supermarket, soda (local restaurant), public phone, hardware store and some other service. The Baru area is also very polulair for people who looking to buy real estate.
